Role Synopsis
|
Our client a multinational, high technology Bioscience Company that provides technologies, tools and services for the development and production of new therapeutic drugs are growing. They are looking to appoint 2 Application Specialists (Sales Account Manager) to strengthen their position; 1 in Scotland and NE England and the other in The Southern Home Counties. The company, headquartered in the USA, serves the worldwide life science research, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries employing over 4,000 people in 31 offices around the world. The ideal candidate for this position will have a bioscience degree; experience working in a laboratory and a minimum of 12 months in a field sales role together with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Applications will also be considered from individuals who have a scientific degree and an excellent track record of sales success in a fast paced industry. In addition, you must be self-motivated, driven and have the ability to work under your own initiative. Primarily, you will be responsible for selling their range of water purification equipment, consumables and service offerings. You will maintain and develop key accounts in territory, protect existing business and actively prospect for new business. There will also be a requirement to co-operate with colleagues and the marketing department to creatively develop strategies to develop business for all segments identifying new market opportunities and implementing appropriate sales strategies to generate and close new business. You will be expected to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction to maintain our client’s market leading position. You will be targeting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic and research customers, so your bioscience knowledge needs to be impeccable.
